selvática: visual interpretations of the monstrous feminine

Selvática is a multimedia project that explores the common terrains between the feminine and the monstrous. In an androcentric society, the feminine is as deviant to the norm as the monster, and through images and objects the project explores ways to subvert the traditional representation of the feminine.
